I guess I am spoiled. I purchased a sun shade umbrella a while back & loved it from day 1. Unfortunately, someone didn't know how to take it down & broke it, so I had to order another 1. I chose this 1 but tried it & don't like it. When it's closed, where I put my finger tips to open it, its sharp & pokes my fingers. And when I take it down, I have to pull it shut at the same time, all the way. It's doesn't have that initial spring closure like the other kind.

This car windshield sun shade fits my Jeep Grand Cherokeeβs windshield very well. The directions on the box, however, are not good. The pictures are too dark to see anything clearly. I actually looked at similar products on line to figure this one out. The easy part is that it opens up like and umbrella. There is a fabric tab at the top that goes around the carβs rear view mirror and fastens with Velcro. That keep the shade from falling down. The question that I had was concerning the umbrella like handle. Well, there is a joint near the top that operated one way and allows you to change the angle of the handle. The round end of the handle sits on the dashboard to stabilize the shade. It was impossible to discern that from the instructions on the box. Now that Iβve figured that out, it is easy to put the shade up. Taking it down is also easy, and it does fit in the sleeve provided to store it in. The shade really does lower the temperature inside of the car. The outside of the shade is silver reflective material, and the inside of the shade is black. Overall, good shade, just not the best instructions.

This shade is wonderful! it fits my windshield perfectly. It's so easy to pop it open and close it, just like an umbrella. And once it's closed it's compact so it fits right in the pocket on the back of my seat. I've noticed a big change in temperature in my car since I've got this. Truly a great value for the price!

This windshield sun shade is easy to use and fits my vehicle well. The umbrella-style design makes it quick to open and fold away compared to traditional shades, and it stores compactly when not in use. It helps block sunlight and reduce heat buildup inside the car, making the interior more comfortable on hot days. A practical accessory that is convenient to keep in the vehicle.
